This EVP was caught at a private residence help investigation of a family looking for a validation of experiences in their home.  The family claimed to hear the voice of a little girl.  The family does have other children, but none were in range to cause this EVP.  The parents have since confirmed this is not the voice of their daughter.

We were in the Sewing room of the main house of the Steppingstone Museum.  This was the room used a long time ago as the room where the family members would lay out their dead before burial. It was told to us that a psychic said that this room had a different entry way at one time. One of our investigators asked the question, and we got an answer.

This was an interesting clip caught while spending the night in Room 217 at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado.  It was after a special ghost event weekend at the hotel and they'd won a silent auction to stay there that evening.  After crowds of traffic coming and going throughout the weekend if there were spirits we'd imagine they may be a little tired of question and answer.  Linda believes that if the Ovillus was speaking for a spirit it wanted us to hurry up and get what we came for and leave.  Who knows....intersting to say the least and Jason was definitely surprised at the time by what it was saying all of the sudden. What's not included in the clip was the last word "aside" which could be interpreted as "step aside" as if it was done messing with us.  Note, nothing else came through that night on the Ovillus after that.

Jason and Linda were standing underneath the big boulder at Devil's Den. They thought we could somehow get up a different way than the stairs.  On an investigation when you hear something that's normal noise that could be mistaken for an EVP you are supposed to announce.  In this clip you can hear Jason and Linda talking and neither note this background noise.

The Steppingstone Museum in Havre De Grace, Maryland was out first big break in investigating.  We were able to investigate during all the seasons over the course of a year. In one of our questionnaires returned by an employee he noted he had to leave one evening after getting creeped out hearing the sound of children playing.  We put a recorder in the barn on our 2nd investigation there and caught this at around 11:30 in the evening. Our group was in the house a little ways away.We didn't know this happened until days later going over evidence. We checked our video and saw no one around, but our video also caught the sounds as well.  Along with the sounds caught that night at the very end we think she says "not it" which is why we think she's playing tag. In our opinion we caught over a minute of a residual haunting occurring in the barn on this property and were able to validate the claim of the employee.

"Behind You....."

This EVP was caught in Gardens of Faith Cemetery on the first investigation of the original Baltimore group.  It's kind of hard to hear. Some people hear it the first time, others have never been able to make it out.  I (Linda) caught this piece, and it's one of the creepiest I've heard since we've been investigating.  To set the scene, 2 investigators (Myself and a woman named another female investigator) thought we saw something and were discussing what our next step would be to investigate further.  You will hear me say "okay" twice.  Right after the second "okay" at the 7 to 8 second point a female whispers "behind you".  Grab your headphones and enjoy!

 This was a Disembodied Voice caught during setup.  In this clip you will see the investigator look up at the moment this female voice emanates in the parents' bedroom.  The second part is more faint, but sounds like the same voice.  For those unfamiliar with the difference between a disembodied voice and an EVP : A disembodied voice is a voice that is heard at the time of recording by the "naked"ear.  An EVP is a spirit voice heard when the recording device is played back and not at the time it was recorded.

Okay, remember your headphones....SO we were in the middle of our set up.  The group went outside to the barn.  In the original recording you can hear bits and pieces of what I believe to be Mike, but this seemed to stand out from that.  The way it speaks doesn't match us either.  It's starts at about 2 second in. We've crossed referenced other recordings and have not found any of us saying that.

This sliding sound was caught while our investigators were in other parts of the building.  We later went back and determined this sound was most likely made by the a wooden menu holder sliding across a table near the camera.

On the second floor hallway of the Villisca Ax Murder House Mike's audio captures a woman's voice clearly saying "Do Not enter" right as he presses record and before he says, "Hello...Test Test".  We compared this evidence to another recorder on in the room and caught the same voice on a second device.  The DVR camera the second clip was caught on was sitting on the dresser in the parent's bedroom.  The Photo used in the first clip shows where the mike was placed on the floor in front of the door on the right hand side.  The video shows which members were present at the time. Linda and Jason were downstairs at the time.  Linda was the only female on the investigation and this is not her speaking.

This EVP was caught while Jason was standing alone in front of Major General Meade's Statue in Gettysburg.  At first he only heard the "Major General" part, but then when he sent it to Linda  she heard a second part to it.  Linda told him it sound like it had and accent and it said "Johan De...something or Johan Be...something.  Here are a couple of pieces I found about him.  It is interesting that has it not been for the EVP find, I would never have known about this person.
